-
You are expected to knit the pattern exactly as written with no modifications or changes to the pattern elements or construction, if you spot a mistake let us know immediately.
-
You are expected to match the gauge stated in the pattern. You may need to adjust your needle size to achieve gauge. You are required to knit a test square until correct gauge is obtained before starting the pattern.
-
Although you do not need to knit this test knit in our yarn, we would ask that it is knitted in a natural or plain colour in the yarn weight recommended in the pattern.
-
Details of the pattern(s) can only be discussed in the private forum during the test knit period
-
At the end of the test knit you must submit clear images of both the front and the back of the finished garment, and an image of the garment being worn direct to us by email. They are required to demonstrate completion of the test knit and for marketing purposes with your agreement.
-
Your images can be used by us for marketing purposes, and we expect you to share them on your social media platforms when the test knit is complete and the pattern is due for release. We will confirm what date that will be after completion.
-
You must provide feedback in the form of a questionnaire on completion of the project. Please be as specific and as honest as possible. We want to learn from you about your experience but please be polite when you feedback. We accept some feedback maybe negative but let us know in a polite manner. We may come back and ask for further clarification.
-
Deadlines are firm so you must complete the project in the set time frame and please let us know if they are not able to do this. We know that ‘life happens’ but let us know as soon as possible of something happens which means you will not be able to complete on time.
