We’re so excited to share something new with you! For the very first time, we’re offering fibre tops – just like our yarn, they come “in the colours the sheep intended.” Each top is 100% farmed and spun here in Cornwall, from our own flock and from other local young farmers we work closely with.
 
There are two bases to choose from:
 
A Stormy Night
Our first base is pure, 100% British Wensleydale Long Wool from our own sheep. This soft, lustrous fibre has natural strength, drape, and glossiness. A rare and sought-after favourite among hand spinners, Wensleydale really is something unique and special to work with. Approx 100grams of fibre. 
 
Dark Rum
Our second base is a distinctive blend of Zwartbles and Wensleydale, the same combination that makes our much-loved Rum & Raisin Yarn. The colour is a natural, deep shade — as dark as rich chocolate or a bottle of rum. You won’t find a blend like this anywhere else. From Sarah’s (The Kernow Shepherdess) award-winning Zwartbles sheep, blended with our rare-breed Wensleydales, this top is as rare and sought after as it is dreamy to spin. Approx 100grams of fibre.
